Process
Inspiration
As a group, we drew inspiration from the brands PATBO and Andrea Iyamah, both known for their flowing, feminine silhouettes and vibrant color palettes. Based on these influences, we decided to develop our brand as a resortwear label.
Sketches
We decided to do eight sketches per person within our group, these are the first four sketches I created catered towards our resortwear brand
This photo is a refined sketch on photoshop of my four fashion sketches. They have been colored in with our collection colors: Coconut milk, Barrier reef, Aqua Glass and Cream gold.

Marketing Budget
Our class also received valuable feedback from the Crescala critic, which guided us in refining our line to eight key pieces. By this stage, we had already identified our target consumer and finalized the selection of fabrics, trims, and design details for the collection.
Every brand requires a well-defined marketing strategy. For our brand, we established a budget of one million dollars, allocating $300,000 for traditional marketing initiatives and $700,000 for online marketing efforts.
Outcome
The final Line Development Project was a transformative experience, offering the opportunity to collaborate as a team throughout the semester to conceptualize and refine a brand. This project provided valuable insights into the multifaceted process of brand creation, encompassing not only design but also the narrative foundation and strategic marketing elements essential for creating a success brand.
