As a group, we first researched Burberry and its history with rebranding, including its logo change throughout the years.

We began our SWOT analysis by identifying Burberry's strengths, which included a strong brand identity, significant market presence, competitive advantage, and a successful rebranding strategy. Weaknesses included Efficiency, Weak influence on reigniting interest in the brand for the new, younger generation of global consumers and customer complaints.

We concluded our presentation with key takeaways, emphasizing the significance of the SWOT analysis in understanding Burberry's strategic position and success.

Outcome

By creating a SWOT analysis, I gained insight into how Burberry successfully rebranded by leveraging its strong brand heritage. The brand’s deep-rooted history and legacy in British fashion allowed it to position itself as both timeless and modern. By focusing on its iconic check pattern, craftsmanship, and status as a symbol of luxury, Burberry was able to stay true to its roots while adapting to contemporary trends.
