I was initially drawn to this line because of its mesmerizing design. Upon further research, I discovered that this collection was created to celebrate Fendi's 90th anniversary in the fashion industry. I also learned that the entire collection was inspired by the book East of the Sun and West of the Moon.

The collection itself was enchanting, but the venue truly brought it to life. Before Fendi could showcase their work, the fountain underwent a meticulous restoration spanning over a year, with Fendi contributing $2.4 million to the project. This historic landmark served as a stunning backdrop, perfectly encapsulating the essence of the collection's title, Legends and Fairy Tales.

Many of the dresses featured fur or intricate patterns inspired by the illustrations in a children's book of fairy tales. This book served as the event's inspiration, seamlessly blending its whimsical elements with Fendi's signature fur designs to create a truly enchanting experience.

This collection demonstrated the importance of storytelling in fashion, highlighting its ability to explore complex themes in a meaningful way. In this case, it drew inspiration from a storybook, using captivating designs and settings to transport the audience into an imaginative world of legends and fairytales.
